Terms of Use
Rules for using the Lazuli website and the information published on it.
Last updated 10 June 2026
Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of https://lazuli.af (the "Site"), operated by Lazuli ("Lazuli", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
These Terms apply to the Site only. Use of Lazuli software products (Copula, Lazuli UMS, Telos ERP, and related services) is governed by separate licence, implementation, and support agreements with your organisation.
About Lazuli and this website
Lazuli is an Afghan software company that designs, builds, and deploys enterprise software for hospitals, universities, and businesses. The Site provides information about our products, services, case studies, and ways to contact us.
We aim to keep information on the Site accurate and current, but we do not warrant that all content is complete, error-free, or up to date at every moment. Product features, pricing, and availability described on the Site are indicative and may change; binding commitments are made only in written agreements signed with Lazuli.
Permitted use
You may use the Site for lawful purposes only — to learn about Lazuli, submit genuine enquiries, and navigate content we publish. You agree not to:
- Use the Site in any way that violates applicable law or regulation;
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, admin area, or API;
- Submit false, misleading, or automated enquiries (including bypassing spam protections);
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest content at a rate that impairs Site performance, except where allowed by robots.txt or our prior written consent;
- Introduce malware, interfere with security, or disrupt the experience of other users;
- Misrepresent your affiliation with Lazuli or any client organisation.
Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, all content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, product names (Copula, Lazuli UMS, Telos ERP), layouts, and software screenshots — is owned by Lazuli or its licensors and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial reference. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from Site content without our prior written permission, except for brief quotations with clear attribution and a link to the source page.
Product information and disclaimers
Descriptions of software capabilities, modules, outcomes, and case studies on the Site are for general information. They are not a guarantee of results for your organisation. Implementation scope, timelines, uptime, and support levels are defined in your contract.
Nothing on the Site constitutes medical, legal, financial, or regulatory advice. Healthcare and education organisations remain responsible for compliance with applicable laws and professional standards when using any software.
Enquiries, demos, and commercial relationships
Submitting a contact, demo, or consultation request does not create a binding order or obligation on either party. We may follow up using the contact details you provide. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information from enquiries.
Commercial terms — including licence fees, implementation scope, warranties, service levels, and data responsibilities for deployed software — are set out in proposals and signed agreements, not on this Site.
Links and third-party content
The Site may link to external websites (for example professional networks listed in site settings). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of third-party sites. Accessing linked sites is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lazuli disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, regarding the Site and any information on it.
We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Site, or that defects will be corrected immediately.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Lazuli and its directors, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Site.
Our total liability for claims relating to the Site in any twelve-month period will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid Lazuli specifically for Site-related services in that period (typically zero for public visitors), or (b) one hundred US dollars (USD 100), except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum permitted by law.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lazuli from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Site, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights through your conduct.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Kabul, Afghanistan, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
If you access the Site from outside Afghanistan, you are responsible for compliance with local laws.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date on this page indicates when they were last changed. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
